It’s hard to express my favourite games in any sort of order, but right at the top of the list is System Shock 2.

As deep fan, I’ve been gratified to see the proper release+bug fixes on Steam, then an Enhanced Edition of System Shock 1, the Kickstarter for a proper System Shock Remaster/Reimagining with an announcement of System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition, the painful tease of a System Shock 2 VR, but then the production troubles of what would eventually become System Shock (2023), and then a year with No. News.

Finally, we have an unexpected name change but, more importantly, a release date.

I have way too many projects going on, but I’ve decided to try and fit in one last play through System Shock 2 Classic as, once the System Shock 2 Remaster is released I’ll likely never look back.
